THE HUAKAI PROJECT

Get Involved

There are many ways to be part of the Huakaʻi Project — whether you are joining the journey, opening space for others, or supporting the mission.

Everyone Has a Role

Huakaʻi Project is built through relationships, participation, and shared mission.

Whether you are a young adult looking for a meaningful faith experience, a host hoping to create space for others, or a partner wanting to support the mission, there is a place for you here.

We welcome individuals, communities, and organizations who want to be part of something grounded, relational, and purpose-driven.

For Participants

If You’re Looking for Faith, Community, and Purpose

Huakaʻi welcomes young adults who are seeking a deeper connection with faith, community, service, and personal growth.

You do not need to have everything figured out to participate. Whether you are deeply rooted in your faith, returning after time away, or simply searching for something more meaningful, Huakaʻi offers a space to explore and grow.

For Hosts

Help Create Space for the Journey

Hosts play an important role in making Huakaʻi possible.

A host may be a parish, ministry leader, local community, or individual willing to help create a welcoming environment for gatherings, reflection, service, or accompaniment.

Hosting does not mean doing everything alone. It means helping make space for connection, growth, and belonging.

Support the Mission in Meaningful Ways

Huakaʻi Project grows stronger through partnerships with people and organizations who share a heart for faith formation, service, and community impact.

Partners may include churches, nonprofits, local ministries, community leaders, service organizations, donors, or supporters who want to invest in the journey.

Whether through collaboration, resources, outreach, sponsorship, or service opportunities, partnership helps expand what is possible.

Because Formation Happens in Community

Huakaʻi is not built by one person or one event. It is shaped by people who are willing to show up, make room, and walk with others.

When participants, hosts, and partners come together, something meaningful happens: faith becomes relational, service becomes personal, and community becomes a place of transformation.

Getting involved means helping create that kind of space — for yourself and for others.
